Description

(CNPLS) was established in 1972 to provide justice and protect the rights of people in need in Jackson County so that people in need are not denied equal protection of the law because of their financial need.

CNPLS provides crisis civil legal assistance to low-income and elderly residents of Jackson County who have problems with housing, public welfare, family dissolution, employment, immigration, and major living conditions that deserve legal relief.

Clients live below 125% of federal poverty levels and / or are over 60 and have problems due to inadequate health care, inadequate education, food shortages, lack of work, and domestic violence. Includes individuals or families suffering from other life and death survival issues.

Hours of operation:

  • Between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM on Monday to Friday 
  • Closed from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM
