Legal aid services provided by oklahoma, inc.
(LASO) is a non-profit organization, 501(c)(3) that provides civil legal assistance to low-income individuals throughout Oklahoma.


LASO's attorneys and lawyers are involved in civil cases:

  • Concerning

    consumer issues
  • Education issues
  • Family law issues
  • Domestic violence issues
  • Senior citizens' law issues
  • Employment and unemployment issues
  • Fair housing issues
  • Housing issues
  • Health issues
  • Public benefit issues
  • Mental health issues, and much more.

Many LASO programs and services are available only to those who meet the financial eligibility criteria.
Clients are financially qualified for their services during their confidential recruitment interviews.

Income is based on the applicant's total household income and family size.
Non-exempt assets may also be taken into account to qualify applicants for their services.


However, there are many of their program services that are not income sensitive.

Legal services, which do not affect income, are intended for people with AIDS, seniors over 60 and victims of housing discrimination.
