New Hampshire Legal Aid's mission is to fulfill America's commitment to equal justice by providing civil legal services to the poor in New Hampshire, including education and empowerment, counselling, representation and advocacy for systemic change.

They offer their clients high-quality civil legal assistance to solve the legal problems that affect their daily survival and the most basic needs.

These services range from simple legal information and consultation to vigorous and thorough representation in all New Hampshire courts and to the many local, state and federal agencies that play a big role in their lives.


By providing legal services to the poor, the NHLA helps ensure the legal system provides the justice and justice that all New Hampshire residents deserve.
Their program was created to provide civil legal services to those who could not afford to hire a lawyer.

They serve all NH residents, citizens and non-citizens alike.
Eligibility for services is based on federal poverty criteria.
