Description

Legal Services of Southern Missouri is a private, not-for-profit corporation created by an Act of Congress to ensure low-income people have equal access to the courts nationwide.

LSSM's purpose is to provide case representation and advice to low-income persons in civil matters only.

LSSM serves only the low-income and elderly.

LSSM never charges a fee to a client.

LSSM may accept cases in the following areas of law:

• Domestic/Sexual Violence, Family, Consumer, Housing, Public Benefits, and Elder Law
