Description

Anishinabe Legal Services is a subsidized, independent 501(c)(3) non-profit Legal Services Corporation (LSC) that provides free legal assistance to low-income people living in or near the Leech Lake, Red Lake, and White Earth reservoirs in northwest Minnesota.

ALS represents clients in tribal courts, state courts and agencies to help them defend their rights.

They help people who meet financial guidelines in the areas of child protection, family law, eviction, foreclosure, wills, social security, civil forfeiture, Indian law, and custody and visitation.
