Kansas Legal Services is a statewide, non-profit company dedicated to helping low-income Kansans meet their basic needs by providing legal and mediation services.

KLS seeks to remove the causes of poverty and mitigate its effects by helping people achieve and maintain self-sufficiency.

You can apply for legal assistance by phone 1-800-723-6953 Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM until 5:00 PM, or by filling out their online application.

For individuals seeking legal assistance, it is recommend that they apply first.

Their field offices cannot answer questions or provide legal advice until they have an application.
