Description

Prairie State Legal Services provides free legal services to individuals that are low-income and over 60 years of age who have significant civil legal issues and require legal aid to address them.

They aim to ensure equal access to justice and fair treatment under the law by providing legal advice and representation, advocacy, education, and outreach that serve to protect basic human needs and enforce or uphold rights.

Clients must meet their income and asset guidelines, or be of age 60 or older.

You are eligible if your household income is less than 125% of the federal poverty level.

They serve Livingston, McLean, and Woodford Counties.

Hours of operation:

• Office hours: Between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM on Monday to Friday
• Telephone intake: Between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM on Monday to Friday
