Description

Colorado Legal Services is a nonprofit organization that has supported low-income and seniors in the state of Colorado for more than 90 years.

The mission of Colorado Legal Services is to provide meaningful access to high-quality civil legal services in the pursuit of justice for as many low-income individuals and members of vulnerable populations as possible throughout Colorado.

When you contact them, they will ask questions to help you understand if they can help you.

The questions will relate to your income, your assets and your legal problems.

If you meet certain revenue limits, you don't have to pay for help you get from CLS.

CLS will look at your wages and assets (including bank accounts, etc.) to determine if you are eligible to receive help from their program.

They also look at the type of legal problem you have and whether or not the resources available to help you.

Some, but not all, CLS offices can help people aged 60 and over, regardless of income, but only if the individual issue is a priority for the S CLS and the office has the resources to provide that assistance when necessary.
