Description

Colorado Legal Services is a non-profit organization that has been assisting low-income and elderly people in the state of Colorado for over 90 years.

Colorado Legal Services' mission is to provide meaningful access to high-quality, civilian legal services in the pursuit of justice for as many low-income people and members of vulnerable populations as possible throughout Colorado.

When you contact them, they will ask you questions so we can find out if they can help you.
The questions are about your income, assets and legal issues.
You don't have to pay for the help you receive from CLS if you meet certain income limits.

CLS will look at your wages and assets (including bank accounts, etc.) to see if you qualify for assistance in their program.

They also look at the type of legal problem you have and whether they have the resources to help you.

Some, but not all, CLS offices can help seniors aged 60 and over regardless of income, but only if the individual problem is a CLS priority and the office has the resources to provide this assistance when needed.

You can reach them by calling, walking in during the walk-in hours or by filling in the online application at applyonlinecls.org.
