Description

Connecticut Legal Rights Project, Inc., (CLRP) is a not-for-profit state agency that provides legal services to low-income people with mental health problems who reside in hospitals or the community on issues related to their treatment, recovery and civil rights.

CLRP represents clients according to their explicit preferences in administrative, judicial and legislative proceedings to enforce their legal rights and ensure that personal decisions are respected and individual self-determination is protected.

Due to a lack of available resources and staff, CLRP attorneys and paralegals only represent cases with substantial legal merit and cannot accept every case.

To register, call 1-877-402-2299 between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.
