Description

Alaska Legal Services Corporation provides free legal services to eligible clients that are determined by income and eligibility for benefits.

People over the age of 60 in Alaska usually receive care regardless of income, although priority is given to care for the elderly in social or economic need.

There are a number of factors they consider when determining income eligibility.

In general, you are eligible if your income does not exceed 125% of the federal guidelines for income from poverty.

In some circumstances, you may be able to receive services even if your annual income is higher than the guidelines.
